PURE Enduro is the Husaberg mantra and that is exactly what you get for 2013, with no fewer than seven dedicated enduro weapons three flying two-strokes, 125, 250, 300 and four menacing four-strokes, 250, 350, 450, 501.

All models have been treated to a brand-new double cradle chrome-moly steel frame and all feature the unique Husaberg polyamide rear sub-frame.

Suspension is the very latest WP with the four-chamber front fork system and uprated WP PDS at the rear.

This is a linkless system which Husaberg (and KTM) see as being the ultimate in reliability for long, gnarly enduro events.

The FE250 is the first 250 four-stroke from Husaberg while the FE350
effectively replaces the old 390 model which now gracefully retires.

Reciprocating masses have been reduced on the 350 (against the 390) by a whole 2kg, which means major gains in the handling department as the bike feels much lighter.

The FE 450 is pure state-of-the-art four-stroke technology while the FE501 is a return of the legend, the model with which Husaberg has enjoyed most success down the years.

The two-strokes comprise TE125, 250 and 300 models and as well as sporting the all-new chassis and the latest spec WP suspension, they have all been uprated in the engine department and are very desirable strokers.

All models, except the baby 125, feature push button electric start for instant starting – very handy in extreme conditions.

There's a lot going on right through the range with the new chassis, new WP suspension, a new slimmer tank and seat profile, new swinging arm, lighter wheels, new airbox with easy access filter, quality brakes from Brembo, plastic skidplates and handguards and lots more.

Now let our ace extreme enduro rider and regular TMX tester MARTIN CRAVEN have his say, having done his best to give all seven machines a  goodgoing-over in the hot Spanish sunshine...
