Now free of World Championship restrictions, Sheffield indoor trial to be held on Friday 29th December 2006 will benefit from a brand new format.
This has been devised by Avondale Management and Dave Willoughby, who is a member of FIM CTR. With the fans very much in mind, the new format will mean that everyone will get to see their favourite rider on both laps of the competition.
The initial round will see each rider take their turn to attempt a section first to ensure a completely level playing field, also the races will take place at the start, the midway point and the end to guarantee some furious action and no team orders.
With the first lap played out all riders will then transfer to the final with their initial lap score determining their starting position for the all important showdown. The riders will start in reverse order with the best qualifying riding last.
As of today's date well over half of the tickets for Sheffield have sold, if you want the best seats – book today.
